IN HIS LIKENESS (part 1) (EXCERPTS FROM A MESSAGE I DELIVERED JULY 15, 2011 @ FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, ADO-EKITI) One of the devil’s main strategies is to divide us along the lines that unite us. We are to be like HIM, and not like each other. Created in His Image, Destined for His Likeness God created Man to bear His Image and Likeness and rule the world with Him as His perfect sons We are all his image. Black, white or any colour. Male, female, old or young. Each of us is a reflection of a part of him. The story of the six blind men that touched an elephant. They were all correct, and they were all wrong. We can never be like him completely while we are here. We can only be like Him completely when we get to Him. The only prayer Christ said for us was on unity. We don’t have to agree on everything, but our differences must be only in the method, and not in the ultimate goal, which is being like Him. We are different parts of the same body.
