If you will have financial freedom, you need wisdom. Kingdom wisdom. The starting point of financial freedom is to get financial wisdom. Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. You need to attain full citizenship of the Kingdom. A certain rich man asked Jesus what to do to enter the Kingdom. Jesus asked him to first disengage himself from financial bondage. It looked senseless to the man. The same way we behave when it comes to your money and the Kingdom of God. Jesus said it will be very difficult for rich men to enter the Kingdom of God.
